Phase II Site Testing

We have completed Phase II site testing on over 125 archeological sites.

In order to make a determination of eligibility for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places, a typical Phase II project involves the excavation of test units and geomorphological investigations. These are conducted in an effort to establish horizontal and vertical site boundaries, assess site formation processes, and examine site integrity.
